Great to see Stirling Council adopting this approach. Experience suggests that some effort will have to be made educating the public regarding the benefits of the new cutting regime.

Any such effort, particularly if resulting in some format of information that could be easily distributed and shared with others, would be great - not only for supporting Council led initiatives, but for others in the area who are trying to persuade others to alter management of community land in a similar direction. Leaflets might work in this regard, or a printable web page - and if these could not only explain the reasoning behind and benefits of what the Council is doing, but demonstrate support for other groups in the area trying to follow a similar approach, that would be great!
