Go to the project

The Scottish Biodiversity List priority habitat Open Mosaic Habitat on Previously Developed Land occurs here. Previous land use has left thin soils which have allowed diverse plant species including many wildflowers to colonise. In association with the willow woodland and riverbank wetland habitats, this open habitat has potential to support invertebrate communities of conservation importance.
