Keir Street also needs speed restrictions

I agree that Henderson Street needs speed restrictions but if they are implemented it’s my view that the speeding problem would worsen in Keir Street as people will take that route as an alternative to avoid speed restrictions in Henderson Street. I have raised this numerous times with local community Councillors but I fear it’s not been taken as seriously as Henderson Street, given this is a personal impact to the councillor. Please look at Keir Street as speeding is a serious problem and there was an accident recently, despite the police saying it wasn’t as a result of speeding I find this very hard to believe given the vehicle hit was pushed onto its side, it’s obvious that was caused by speed and impact.
