Ladysneuk Rd

Tom Palmer•2 years ago The advisory cycle lanes on Ladysneuk Rd from Cambuskenneth to Grange Rd are unnecessary and may well be counter productive as creating a single track road where drivers are fixating on road position will detract from, rather than add to, road safety

Cambuskenneth "Tables"

Tom Palmer•2 years ago The proposed tables at the junctions in Cambuskenneth look like a solution searching for a problemThe only safety issue in the village is delivery vans travelling at speed on Ladysneuk RdThis could be adressed in part by 1 Putting a table at the existing choke point entering the village2 Extending the tables at each of the junctions with Ladysneuk Rd accross the full width of Ladysneuk Rd to provide traffic calming

What has changed?

Tom Palmer•5 years ago I see a couple of yellow highlights re bueing and trees in hedgrows but this plan is substantially the same as before so I will make the same observationWhy are so many objectives target for 2045? We need smart short and medium term plans This decade is crucial

Lack of Vision

Tom Palmer•5 years ago The aims of the policy are detailing liability end demonstrating how number and diversity of trees will be managedThe detail is full of examples on liability but totally lacking on plans for future expansionI expected a wood land policy which purports to support the Alive with Nature plan to plant 80,000 trees to say a lot more about where, when and how this would be achievedGenerally not an inspiring document
