Bridge of Allan to Dunblane

Phase 2 of the project will connect Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. The project is being part-funded by the Stirling & Clackmannanshire City Region Deal. A bid for the remaining funding required will be submitted to Transport Scotland.

The suggested alignment follows the A9 to Keir Roundabout, before continuing north on the B8033, where the existing southbound carriageway could be converted to an active travel corridor and the existing northbound carriageway could become two-way for vehicles. The route is planned to extend as far as the Dunblane Centre roundabout.

will the new path for pedestrains and cyclist require people to cross the A9?

Great idea. Is there an opportunity to sort the route into BofA too?

Consistency

Strongly support an attractive and safe route for cyclists between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan

Afraid it means more chaos and less safety

I am strongly supportive of the cycle lanes

Very supportive of this route

I am totally in agreement with the plan to construct a cycling/pedestrian corridor along the A9 to Dunblane.

We have an existing route already

Please leave the road as it is. The needs of thousands of motorists outweighs the need of a few cyclists

A brand new cycle path that goes nowhere near the existing road is what is needed! Keep it fenced/walled off, separate

Do not use the northbound 8033 into Dunblane from Keir roundabout 2 way traffic

I'm a big fan of this plan! Full-throated support.

A safe route from Dunblane to Bridge of Allan is required but not this ill thought out proposal

Focus is wrong

Im a totally opposed to the reduction of the roads. This was throen out by the community a few yaers ago

Please just get a cycle lane between Keir roundabout and BofA along A9 southbound, so dangerous there with cyclists.g

Complete waste of money, fix the potholes! I see very few cyclists on the cycle paths all around stirling,

Cyclists don't use cycle lanes

Scrap the plan completely
