Relocation of Callander Primary School
Stirling Council is looking for your views on proposals to relocate Callander Primary School.
The proposed relocation site for the new school will sit adjacent to Callander Nursery, McLaren High School and McLaren Leisure Centre, creating a community campus for the area.
The council is expected to submit a planning application in the coming weeks, with a view to work commencing in early 2024. The building would be scheduled to open in the 2025/26 academic year.
We invite any interested party to let us know their thoughts. A survey is available below and will remain open until Sunday 8 October 2023. Paper copies of the survey will also be made available at Callander Library. A public meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday 18 September at 6.30pm at Callander Primary School where the proposal will be discussed. Analysis
Responses will be collated and forwarded to Education Scotland. Education Scotland will then provide a response and the intention is that this work will be complete to allow a paper to go to the Children and Young Persons Committee in February.
