Causewayhead to Bridge of Allan
The project will connect Bridge of Allan with Walk, Cycle, Live Stirling infrastructure at the Hillfoots Road junction, to create a safe walking and cycling route between Wallace High, Airthrey Road, and the junction of Keir Street and Fountain Road.

The project has now successfully received funding from Transport Scotland via the Active Travel Infrastructure Fund (ATIF) Tier 2 and works will begin on Keir Street in a phased manner from the 5th October 2026 which will last for a period of 12 weeks. The overall works are aimed to be completed by late autumn 2027.

Design period
We are currently finalising the designs for the route between Causewayhead and Bridge of Allan.
In this stage we are:
- Developing construction drawings
- Applying for construction funding
- Securing planning permission
- Finalising land negotiations
