Communal Bin Hub Pilot Survey
Communal bin hubs were installed at four locations within the city centre to pilot a new collection method. The purpose of trialling the new communal bin hubs is to gather evidence for a change in collection method. The aim of the pilot is to increase recycling opportunities and recycling rates in areas that do not have access to recycling facilities within their own household. By removing the presentation of purple sacks as a collection method there is also an anticipated decrease in occurrences of fly-tipping and litter within the street setting.
Phases
Communal Bin Hub Pilot Survey
The purpose of this survey is to obtain feedback from residents while the trial in underway so that Stirling Council can adjust the service to the requirements of the pilot area. Responses from residents are important to us as this will help shape the future collection model of the city centre waste and recycling collections.
This survey will aid us in finding the best communication method and times for future engagements sessions for those residents within the pilot area.
