Cultural Strategy - Organisation and Freelancers Survey

Stirling's Cultural Strategy 2023-2028 aims to position Stirling as a vibrant, dynamic and creative place to be. Guided by three core themes – connection, catalyst and collaboration – the strategy is built on social justice and equality of opportunity.

The strategy is overseen by the Culture Board and delivered through the Place Partnership, a network of cultural organisations working collaboratively across Stirling. It focuses on six catalyst areas:

  • Culture Night – showcasing Stirling's cultural strengths.
  • Volunteering – building capacity and connecting communities to cultural projects.
  • Social Prescribing – connecting culture with health and wellbeing.
  • Skills Development – strengthening our creative workforce
  • Film & Screen – establishing Stirling as a key Scottish film hub.
  • Cultural Rucksack – ensuring equitable cultural access for all.

This baseline survey helps us understand where our cultural sector is now, what support you need, and how we can work together. Your responses will shape catalyst priorities, identify collaboration opportunities, and demonstrate culture's impact across Stirling.
