Cultural Strategy - Residents Survey
Stirling's Cultural Strategy 2023-2028 aims to position Stirling as a vibrant, dynamic and creative place to be. Guided by three core themes – connection, catalyst and collaboration – the strategy is built on social justice and equality of opportunity.
The strategy is overseen by the Culture Board and delivered through the Place Partnership, a network of cultural organisations working collaboratively across Stirling. It focuses on six catalyst areas:
- Culture Night – showcasing Stirling's cultural strengths.
- Volunteering – building capacity and connecting communities to cultural projects.
- Social Prescribing – connecting culture with health and wellbeing.
- Skills Development – strengthening our creative workforce
- Film & Screen – establishing Stirling as a key Scottish film hub.
- Cultural Rucksack – ensuring equitable cultural access for all.
This baseline survey helps us understand the current cultural offer in Stirling and what residents would like to see in the future.
