Early Learning and Childcare Consultation

Background

Under the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, local authorities are required to consult with families regarding provision of early learning and childcare with the authority. As the expansion of early years in Stirling is now complete, we would like to hear the views of current and future service users around the delivery models of early learning and childcare currently on offer.

What we will do with the information?

Information gathered in this survey will help shape our delivery of early learning and childcare from August 2022.

Stirling's Learning Communities

Within Stirling, we group our nursery, primary and secondary schools into learning communities.

You can see our list of learning communities below.

Early Learning and Childcare Survey

13 October 2021 23:00 - 25 November 2021 00:00

All 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds are entitled to 1140 hours of government funded early learning and childcare each year.

Under the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, local authorities must consult with families around provision of early learning and childcare within the council area. If your child currently attends or will in the future attend an early learning and childcare provider in Stirling, we would like to hear your views on your childcare needs.

The survey below is aimed at understanding the current and future childcare needs of families in Stirling's Learning Communities within the models of provision that will be on offer in Stirling.
