Education Admissions Policy

Stirling Council Schools, Learning and Education are carrying out a consultation on the creation of the Education Admissions Policy. This new policy will update and bring together five separate documents that relate to the admission of children and young people to education provision in Stirling. The five policies or guidance documents being amalgamated are:

• Nursery Admissions Policy
• Early Entry to School Policy
• School Admissions Policy
• Education Admissions Panel guidance for the admission of children and young people to Specialist Additional Support Needs Provisions
• Placing Request Policy

Following initial feedback from the consultation, we are providing further information on the section of the Education Admissions Policy regarding admission to specialist provision. An additional document has been uploaded below to provide additional information.
