Future Libraries Survey

We need your help to shape the future of Stirling’s libraries.

With technological advances, changing public use and increasing budget pressures, we need to consider what the future should look like for our library service.

We want to hear the views of people who live, work and study in the Stirling Council area on what libraries should provide, whether you use the service currently or not.

We want to create a strategy that will guide service delivery for the next five years so we can adapt, modernise and meet the changing needs of local communities, all within a balanced budget.

Stirling Council's vision, priorities, and spending

These two graphics show the vision, outcomes, and priorities that Stirling Council is working towards, as well as how we spent our money in 2023-4.

Our library service needs to consider all of these things so that we can deliver a service that gives our residents what they need while being financially sustainable for the future.
