Rent Consultation 2025-26

This consultation is open to Stirling Council Housing tenants only.

Agreeing rent levels is one of the most important decisions the Council makes each year, as it has an impact on all tenants. This is why it is vital you have the opportunity to get involved and have your say on the options available.

We estimate the cost of running the Housing service will rise by £2.35m in 2025/26. In order to continue to provide the full range of services to tenants we must meet the increased costs to the service.

We are proposing three options to tenants for consideration and we would like you to choose you preferred option:

  1. 7.2% - an increase of £6.09 per week
  2. 8.0% - an increase of £6.77 per week
  3. 8.5% - an increase of £7.19 per week

For more information on each option please read the rent consultation article in the Open Door newsletter in this project below.

If you would like to be entered into our prize draw please complete your details at the end of the survey. Two winners will each receive a £50 voucher for a local supermarket.
