St Ninians corridor

This route will provide a direct link for communities in St. Ninians, Borestone and Torbrex to the city centre and the existing active travel route past King’s Knot to Forth Valley College. The route will also provide a safe, high quality walking, wheeling and cycling provision to Stirling High School, St. Ninians Primary School and Stirling Health and Care Village.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part in the survey.

A detailed summary is attached. In general, participants indicated strong support for segregated active travel infrastructure along the length of the route. While there was support for removing parking in some locations in Questions 6, there was strong opposition to this in Question 7. There was more support for a route on St. Ninians Road rather than Melville Terrace. However, there was no strong support either way.
