Stirling Community Mental Health and Wellbeing

Are you a parent or carer of a 5-18 year old? We’d love to hear your views.

What is this survey about?

During our recent consultation about our Children’s Service Plan, parents and carers told us that supporting young people’s mental health was a key priority and we’d like to find out more.

The Stirling Council Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team is seeking your views about extending our community supports.

We are keen to hear from as many parents and carers as possible.

How do I get involved?

We are inviting parents and carers of young people aged 5-18 to fill in our questionnaire about community mental health and wellbeing supports.  This should take under ten minutes to complete. The survey will be anonymous and you won’t be able to be identified from your response. You will not be asked to share any personal information about your child.

Please fill in the questionnaire with one child in mind.  You can complete the questionnaire again if you have another child you’d like to complete it for.   In the survey, the term ‘your child’ is used to refer to a child for whom you have either parental or caring responsibilities.

If you need help to fill this in, please contact your child’s school or telephone 01786 40 40 40 where an Customer Service advisor will be happy to help you.

How can I get more involved?

We are looking to set up a parents and carers reference group which is representative of our parents and carers across Stirling Council. The purpose of this group will be to talk about supports in more depth and to have your help in shaping our ideas as we go forward.

If you are interested in being part of this group please leave your name and an email address or telephone number at the bottom of the survey so that we can contact you.

Many thanks for your help, your time is greatly appreciated.
